Founder / Expedition Operations
Andrew Wilson
Andrew Wilson is the founder of Hades Exploration and oversees expedition operations, technical development and strategic direction across all projects.
Andrew has worked extensively within advanced subsurface imaging and underground investigation, including projects associated with ESA, UKSA, major rail infrastructure organisations and historical underground expeditions throughout the United Kingdom and Poland.
Co-Founder / Data Interpretation
Anthony Gallagher
Anthony Gallagher is a physicist and inventor specialising in advanced data processing and subsurface interpretation.
Anthony leads the processing and interpretation of survey data ranging from LiDAR and magnetometry through to high-resolution subsurface imaging. He is also responsible for geolocation and positional verification of targets identified for intrusive investigation and archaeological excavation.
Security / Expedition Logistics
We retain a subject matter expert who has an extensive operational military experience having served as an officer for 16 years in the British Army in a number of senior roles. After leaving the military in 2004 he continues to support operations worldwide in High Risk Environments acting as a Senior Manager.
As a retained consultant he has overall responsibility for the planning, operational coordination and delivery for all Hades international expeditions ensuring that all security, operational, logistical and legal requirements are met.
Polish Research Partner
Jan Delengowski
Jan Delengowski serves as our research partner for Hades Exploration activities in Poland.
Jan is recognised for extensive archival research into underground wartime infrastructure, displaced cultural property and concealed Second World War sites throughout Central Europe.
Wreck Diving Specialists
Darron & Mitchell Carr
Darron and Mitchell Carr are a father-and-son partnership specialising in wreck diving, with over forty years of combined diving experience.
They support maritime investigations and provide access to specialist divers depending on the operational requirements of each investigation.
Expedition Support / Mountain Rescue
Chris Aird
Chris Aird is a mountaineer and member of the UK Mountain Rescue community, specialising in survival, foraging, bushcraft, rope access and expedition support within challenging environments.
Chris is also currently undertaking paramedic training following years of operational experience within the ambulance service.
